grange mixed hockey easter festival
Friday 6th April to Sunday 8th April 2012 - Easter Weekend
Further to the recent successes of Inverurie Anarchists, Scottish Life and last year The Mighty Stags and Grange Vets who have won recent Grange Easter Festivals, the Grange Men’s and Women’s Hockey teams are delighted to invite you to their (in)famous mixed Easter Hockey Festival. Please come to the beautiful city of Edinburgh for an Easter (Spring) weekend of fun, frolics, partying and a bit of hockey.
Teams of all abilities, shapes, sizes, nationalities, hair (if any) etc are very welcome.
The tournament is a mixed 11-a-side social, fun tournament. It will be played mainly on grass (with some matches on astro) at the Grange Club. The normal rules of mixed hockey will apply. Teams must have a minimum of five ladies on the pitch at all times. The matches will take place on Saturday 7th April and Sunday 8th April.
There will be entertainment at the club on Friday & Saturday evenings involving amongst other things, drinks promotions; quiz night; a disco and a karaoke (though please don’t let that put you off).

The tournament entrance fee will be £150 per team with deposit of £75 required by 28 January and full payment required by 15 March (cheques payable to Grange Mens Hockey Club, and please send cheques to Easter Hockey Festival, The Grange Club, Portgower Place, Edinburgh EH4 1HQ). If you want to take part, please email us and send your entrance fee (team places are limited and entries are first come first served), so the sooner you send your entry the better.
